Wow!, one has to wonder if anyone reads anymore (talking about the previous definitive answers). Well, the answer to your question is maybe, so why risk it. I never think it’s a good idea to get too many heavy metals. Metals collect in your system over time So, drinking from an aluminum can probably won’t hurt you but drinking from an aluminum can, cooking in aluminum pan or skillet, baking on aluminum baking sheets and using antiperspirants with aluminum, who knows? My motto has always been, “when in doubt, leave it out”. There are so many alternatives out there, why risk it?

How easy/hard is it to finagle your way onto the main floor if you’ve got balcony seats? I’ve got tickets for Incubus on 5/22 and desperately want to get on teh main floor. How’s security about this?

security is pretty thorough..
no main floor ticket? … no entry to main floor

I had main floor for Lacuna Coil/Rob Zombie
If I left to go to the bathroom.. etc
I had to reshow ticket stub to get back into the main area

I have a W Goebel figurine on which I would like to find some more info. The figurine is a boy playing a banjo. (At least it looks like a banjo). He is sitting sideways on a large, overstuffed chair with his feet hanging over the side and there is a dog underneath the chair.

You need a ripe pumpkin - that depends on the types of pumpkin: ‘blues’ versus butternut, for example.

You cook the pumpkin first, usually by boiling, but you can use a microwave, or even part boil, then roast!

The pumpkin won’t cook relatively much while in the oven as the pastry will usually cook fairly quickly. if you don’t want ‘uncooked’ pumpkin, then it needs to be fairly well cooked.

How do you make your own light diffusers and backgrounds in photography?

I am an amateur with the ability to take great pictures, but always mess up on the stills where you photograph an object/person in a studio setting. I can’t seem to get the right light setting on the camera and don’t have any equipment to work with.

The others are right when it comes to backgrounds. From fabric materials to textured rugs, anything can be used as a background.
The biggest tip I can give you about diffusing light would be to use your ceiling. If you have a white ceiling and a flash that can be directionalized, then point your flash towards the ceiling about half way between you and your subject. The light will bounce of the ceiling and hit your subject, but the bouncing diffuses it.

What is a cabachon?

The only thing I know about this is that they are used in jewelry. Is this a gemstone??

No it’s not a gemstone. Cabochon refers to gems that have been shaped and polished rather than cut with facets like you see for diamonds, emeralds etc. Usually opals and other irridescent gemstones and ones that exhibit chatoyancy (like tiger eyes) will be prepared en cabochon. Turquoise, malachite and other opaque stones that exhibit nice patterns are also usually cabochoned. Usually they’re oval shaped and kind of domed up but they can really be any shape, just honed and polished instead of cut.

If you are s street skater, then avoid ceramic bearings. They are designed for longboards, and can;t withstand the shock of landing, especially stairs.

ABEC ratings are meaningless for skateboards they don’t indicate speed or appropriateness for bearings. So… I;d go with the Swiss bearings. I prefer Pig Swiss, but have had good luck with Bones Swiss and Black Panther Swiss, but the Pigs need less frequent cleaning and maintainance than the Bones or Panthers.

If you don;t want to spend the money, go with the Bones Reds, they are a high quality bearing at a great price, made to the same specs as the swiss bearings at 1/3 of the price.

If you are refering to water 75gm =75mL
other liquids or solids will not weigh out that way.IE 100 mL of mecury will be way more than 75gm
